RTR: Under the Eagle
Welcome to the Official totalwar.org home of Rome Total Realism: Under the Eagle, a Imperial Rome mod spanning from 27BC to 326AD.
Current Team Members include Ryman2489 (Praetorian at RTR Forums), Marcus Camillus (Creator of the infamous 4tpy mod), and several other members of the Rome Total Realism Community.
We are currently in predevelopment phase, working on gathering information pertaining to the several major powers that existed and threatened the Empire during the time period.
Key Features we are Including:
-A map that no one has ever seen before, built by an outside party and adapted into the mod.
-Historically accurate Legions present at the start of Augustus's reign will be placed in the provinces where they were stationed. More legions will also spawn based on the time period they appeared in along with how far the Roman Empire has expanded in the game. For Example: A Legion that was historically used to fight in the campaign against Dacia will only appear if the Roman Empire shows evidence of moving into Dacia.
Faction Previews can be expected in the coming days, we hope to have our first one on the Kingdom of Dacia (name not final, could be divided into tribes).
