It didn't take them 2 hundred years... It's not like they were trying continuosly to conquer Iberia for 2 hundred years... They conquered half, the half that belonged to Carthage, and then turned their attentions elsewhere to Greece... Then eventually came back and conquered the other half.

Actually almost all of Iberia was conquered in under 60 years, so where 200 came from i have no idea. By 197BC the Cartheginian half had been conquered and by 133BC 9/10ths of it belonged to Rome...

That makes o sense at all...that would be like me taking a vote from my second favourite faction (KH) and giving it to Iberia.

What tantrum? Like I said you give yourself way too much importance. Like Dave said, my vote was kind of predictable...they know me well by now

The report thing was meant as a joke. Geeez.

Actually when did Rome lose the Iberian peninsula? What date i mean and who to....

Yes it did. It took about 200 years to pacify the peninsula, and with extreme measures such as outright genocide and deportation. There were revolts (and significant ones) up until the end of the age. In those 60 years you mention, the romans were to have casualties that were similar to those of the Teutoburg disaster (in legionaries and auxiliaries). Rome had difficulty raising legions to fight there...it was the vietnam of the ancient world. I wouldn't call that with ease.

And the Romans did conquer Iberia, no one is disputing that. The same can be said about most of western Europe, North Africa and the Near East. What's your point here?

How about we leave it as it is, and let the other guys play? I know I will.

Can everyone do the +1 and -1 bits above the main part of the post (faction names and scores) so that it saves time? It's easier for both the poster and the next person.
