    Default Initial Reactions about Alexander?

    Linky
I don't think I can't not buy it. I have them all since Shogun. But I'm glad they're expanding upon the Eastern part of the world a little more.
"And one should bear in mind that there is nothing more difficult to execute, nor more dubious of success, nor more dangerous to administer than to introduce a new order to things; for he who introduces it has all those who profit from the old order as his enemies; and he has only lukewarm allies in all those who might profit from the new. This lukewarmness partly stems from fear of their adversaries, who have the law on their side, and partly from the skepticism of men, who do not truly believe in new things unless they have personal experience in them."

Unless it's priced outrageously, I'm pretty sure I'll be buying it. Looks like a nice twist on the standard, and a new and bigger map from CA is certainly welcome. Why weep when you still have more worlds to conquer?

New map? A mod can do that. New units? A mod can do that. New factions? A mod can do that. What are the new features?

Well, there's the voice acting from Brian Blessed, suggesting a bit more of an immersive (we hope) shell wrapped around the campaign than the average user mod. And we can also hope that it's been run through enough QA testing that it plays fairly smoothly out of the box.

Doesn't bother me, I'll buy it anyway. In exactly the same way that I bought the Star Wars box set even though Phantom Menace stunk badly. I just like to have the complete set. Pathetic I know, but it's only a few quid man, nothing to get too upset about. I regularly waste more than the price of a new game in a night at the pub, and I've got nothing to show for it the next day except a hangover.
At least this way I'm using the hard drive space I've already paid for.

A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening tear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn. - Blackadder

I love TW series and such, but I don't got Spartian:Total Warrior, and not this game, because I will not get it. if I wanted to do this,I can download a dang Mod. I rather buy the one for PS2 then this.

and I got all TW games from Shogun till now
