Seriously.

Hasn't anybody noticed the recent flight of conservatives from the backroom?

Look at the thread titles for the last couple of weeks.

It seems that some of us are tired of riding the merry-go-round backroom.

Personally, I see this as a sign of the apocalypse. "The Age of Satin" has arrived.

edit: Also note the rapid decline of interesting discussion. There are far less regular backroom types back here than there used to be. Yep. The age of Satin, Satan, Santa, and Stan. It is a terrible, dark, dark age of nightmares and fish sticks.

I thought the ubercons had their own private clubhouse in which they could pant deliriously over the latest Coulter or Limbaugh pronouncement. Surely that has siphoned off some of your partisan energies.

Also, I'd imagine that the performance of your party in the last six years has done something to dull your glee.
