Default Falling of the edge of the flat earth...

I assume most of you have seen in RTW how sometimes a unit ordered to move to a position a bit forward of it's current positions sometimes moves on forward much longer than you wanted to. Well, I had this problem in a battle today, but there were many units who kept moving and I had triple speed because it was during a marching phase of the battle, so I didn't want to wait. Suddenly, 5 or so of my units who kept moving forward ended up outside the red line at the end of the map. So I ordered them to halt and then gave new orders, and thought I had brought back all who went over the red line, but then a minute later I notice one unit very far outside the red line that I forgot to stop. Then next moment it loses one man after another, without having the fighting or missile fire icon on it's unit card. The men just fell over the edge of the map! Has anyone seen something like that before?

    Hi

    All very strange.

I cannot order my units to leave the battlefield. They never get outside the red lines except when arriving as reinforcements or leaving routing.

So they never get right to the edge of the map. Suppose they must get there when routing but I cannot zoom in close enough to watch what happens to a unit so far from any of my army.

Any sound effect when they fall off the edge
    Regards

Nope, no sound effect but it would be cool

I can't normally order my units outside the red lines either, but I ordered them to walk in the direction of the red line, to a spot just inside it, and they just kept walking...

I had my units fighting outside the battlefield boundaries sometimes with 1.2. It happened when an enemy unit routed and got so strung out that some of its men remained on the battlefield. Once I even killed a general who was off the field already. With 1.3/1.5 however, units don´t cross the red line anymore, they look like plastered on a glass wall when pursuing a routing unit.
