    Hi there.

    I've just downloaded the Gnome editor, hoping to turn trezibod archers into longbowmen... and tweaking their stats to make them fight like Janissary heavy infantry...:D


    So I edit the necesary columns in CRUSADERS_UNIT_PROD11.txt

    The point is, I can edit the cost, builidng time, place of training, cost, upkeep cost, etc. but each time I try to fight a battle after editing the unit stats (melee, charge bonus, etc.) the game crashes!

    I thought that changing the values in the GNOME editor was enough but I keep getting the CTDs!

    What am I missing here?

    Ok, I've been able to edit the Kats (now they have horse archer speed) and the Byzantine Infantry (which now is the equivalent to Janissary Heavy Infantry).

    But every time I want to edit the Trezibod archers to have the same stats and range as, lets say, Longbowmen, I have a CTD during battles.

    Any ideas on how to resolve this?

    Modding missile units can be tricky - check out the Reposiory forum, there's a thread on projectile stats that might help you.

    In the unit_prod file, change the projectile type from sbow to long. should give trebizond archers longbow range etc.

    I tried that, but it crashes the game after the enemy comes into long bow range...
