Default More questions about the Imperial Campaign...

What is the largest port availible? I currently have an Imperial City, and as the first upgrade I get upon upgrading a city is ports to access more sea-trade, I immmeadiatly looked to see if I could build one. I can't. Is there no larger port? If this is the case, then how on earth do I build Decare and Corvus Quinquireme ships?
    I support Israel

There are three levels of port. The Decere and Corvus Quinquireme require a higher temple of Neptune as well as a port.

Play the Scipii. They can build the Neptune line of temples.

You also need a Port to be able to build the religious buildings to Neptune.

Also, you don't get to control the other Roman factions when you win the civil war. SPQR is eliminated once you take Rome, and you become the supreme Roman leader, the Imperator (well, virtually - you still need 50 provinces to attain that title if you're playing the long campaign). If you want the other Roman lands, you'll have to fight for them.

I believe in a society without rules, laws and regulations. A society where there are only ideas - strict ideas that must be followed to by the letter - and any failure to comply is punishable by death. This would be no dictatorship or police state, no one would be living in terror. It would merely be a 'reassessment of one's preferences,' people living in 'not-so-optimistic security.' So, welcome, those who are 'longing to be blindly obedient and loyal, unbeknownst to them.'

Some temples are shared between factions but most of them are unique to each faction.

The other Roman factions become your enemy and you must conquer them like any other faction. You win after taking Rome and having 50 provinces. You don't need to finish the whole Civil War if you don't want to.

There doesn't even need to be a civil war. You can just destroy the SPQR faction and sue for peace with your fellow Romans, if that is what you want.

If you capture a Scipii city with temple of Neptune, I think you can build Corvus Quinquireme and that other ship with the Brutii and the Julii as well.

That's a bad idea if you're playing 1.5. Your "Fellow Romans" will then be able to attack you at will and you won't be able to attack them back.
