    Is there a mod to make the AI factions to stay still and not advance on anyone

    Sorry, I didn't understand.
    Do you mean the AI factions being passive (non agressive)?

    If so, you can do it easily, by modding only descr_strat.
    For each faction, include a new line:
    Code:
    faction	egypt, religious caesar
    superfaction egypt
    Your problem will be in case of romans, where they have already another superfaction (senate).

    No what I mean is the factions are still aggressive but don’t take anybody else’s cities, unless you have one of there’s.
    I just want to fight my enemy’s in historical settings.

    You might make an immobile trait and find a way to give it to any character besides the human ones. It would be a little tedious, and still captains could capture other cities, but it would make it less likely and it would probably work.

    I have no idea how to do it though - just that I know it's possible.
