Don't have cable, don't watch TV, but this void means that when I visit someone who has the tube going I am much more likely to be attentive to that than the people I am visitng. Strangely enough, I want to know who wins survivor, or if the pro wrestler ever avenges his honor, but I never find out.

and when I visit my parents for the holidays I watch tv if I cant sleep. Two years ago I watched an MTV marathon of Nick and Jessica, Newlyweds, late at night because I couldn't sleep. I will be forever tainted.

We got rid of our Sky subscription a few months back = save 20 quid per month, and don't waste time watching trash (altough I do miss the History Channel).

I will confess to watching Dancing on Ice when it was on ITV a few months back. One of the skaters was *really* hot. Mrs Suribachi knew this was why I watched it but she didn't seem to mind. She knew how hot this chick was
