Spartan Hoplites Reskin

Hi,

A fellow clanmate has a reskin of Spartan Hoplites, he says they look really good but can't remember exactly where he got them. They still allow him to play online with everybody running normal skins. Anyone know where I might get these?

Edit: He says they where official, released by CA. Will they be on .com site or something?

im not sure, so many spartan skins have been released.

Does he have a screenie, as then it would be easier to identify

I believe so long as you rename the model and texture files to the vanilla names you can use any model or texture in multiplayer.

I think there have been a few Spartan reskins - did they look anything like these?

If it's not too much trouble ERE, If they're playable in multiplayer, would it be possible to provide me with a link or two to some skins?

There's a link to the one in the thread I mentioned in the top post. Alternatively, hit the Downloads area of TWC and search for 'spartan'.

BTW I don't do MP so I'm not sure about it - this is just what I've heard from others. If your mate can do it already then he can probably give you some pointers if what I said doesn't work out.

AFAIK, the downloads section of the .COM forums now only allow the download of [SARCASM]pretty wallpapers, IM icons and not forgetting a must-have BI demo[/SARCASM]. What they've done with the important downloads, such as patches for their products, is anyone's guess.
