@ sapi: Sorry my last post was muddled. What I meant was that I have lived here for 7 years and gained citizenship. And the Commonwealth means I can have duel citizenship, so both for the UK and Australia without having to relinquishing one of them.

Darn it, so some brits are becoming Aussies becuase of this commonwealth! That ain't fair (Well I guess it is)
And also, i guess Australia doesn't like Americans and Brits, but I dont mind the Americans htta much, its just the brits i dont really like

I had no idea British/Aussie relations are so tenuous. Luckily for them us Americans are around or they wouldn't have anything in common.
