Appears to be part of the baby boomer generation in which case he is in denial about being really really old, and believes that his was the greatest generation of mankind, and that subsequent generations have had identity and inadequacy problems because they werent part of it. All music, education, political demonstrations, discoveries, wars, and human beings in general are inferior post 1979, and have sold out to "the man".
