    I use Spybot search and destroy http://www.safer-networking.org/ and the current windows defender that you can download from microsoft http://www.microsoft.com/athome/secu...e/default.mspx

    There is also Ad-Aware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

    Edit: securityuptodate.net is dodgy I think
