Only one official patch came out, but there's some fan made ones. Haven't tried them though.

Seems that you didn't listen to the minor hints told throughout the game about how to choose.
Try a malk in any case, they're hillarious. Not the first time through char though, as thier funnier if you know what you're talking about

Oh, for Jack and the cabby. Jack is Jack and a real mummy is always useful when playing jihad. The cabby is "a old and powerful vampire that you're supposed to wonder if he's Cain" (basically told in a interview I saw a while ago). Lore-wise Cain would really not bother with the events in the game though.

As for the ending my theory is the following:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
You're used as a pawn to complete thier plan to eliminate the Prince, the Kuel-Jin and probably to flush the Sabbat in the open enough to take them out. All to advance the positions of the Anarchs (and probably unknown to the Anarchs).

Beckett warns you because he gains knowledge about the plan, but as telling you about it is politics, he doesn't say it, only hints about how to survive.

The only thing I haven't fitted into my theory is the e-mails. Feels like the caddy sends them, but putting you in the basket from the begining feels a bit to in-flexible. I mean, you must survive for quite a while before you get really useful
