Need to fix forum

I believe there is problem with account at forum:

1. If someone forgot his/her password, he/she clicks on "forgot password"

2. The form asks for entering email account. An email sent to that account.

3. In the email, it says what is the user name and provides 2 links, one is the reset password link. Click on it would reset the password and send the new password to the email account.

4. Problem is: the generated password doesn't meet the stringent password requirement. So the generated password is never sent. So the person who forgot his/her password will never be able to figure it out or reset the password.

Personally, I believe the password requirement is too high. I uses a single password for many gaming sites (and it is not my password for more serious sites). Now, am required to come up with a new password that I can't remember and is different than many other sites.

Anyways, at least fix your password generator so it will at least send out something so people can retrieve their account.

Yes, I agree. I had the same problem. I couldn't do anything about it either. I finally had a friend and fellow member here post about my problem and KukriKhan handled it for me. Something should be fixed in site so that it makes it less difficult to get your password.

I agree the requirements are too high. Tis a bit silly, but I made a pw based on how easy it is to type, not on what it means...

so of you all go guessing.
