Default Rome 1.5 patch question ??

    Hi everyone

I've had a nightmare with my PC over the weekend. I run Spybot and Ad-Aware and managed to delete something that stopped my RTW 1.5 running. The end result was a weekend of frustration and me reinstalling my operating system.

I now have both RTW and BI back up and running. I downloaded a save game from a PBEM I was involved in a few weeks ago but it wouldn't load. Now I know that I hadn't made all factions playable but also checked my version and I was playing 1.3. Am I incorrect in thinking that BI brought RTW up to 1.5 or have I forgotten something else?

    Thanks for any help

BI automatically patches RTW to 1.5 I think so if you want to play RTW 1.3 you'll have to install it in a separate place.

No I want to play RTW 1.5. Have just checked the readme on BI and it says it patches RTW to 1.3. I must have to patch up to 1.5 but didn't realise I had to do that last time.

BI patches RTW to 1.3 automatically. Then, you only need to download the 1.6 Patch for BI, and installing that will patch RTW to 1.5 automatically.
I believe in a society without rules, laws and regulations. A society where there are only ideas - strict ideas that must be followed to by the letter - and any failure to comply is punishable by death. This would be no dictatorship or police state, no one would be living in terror. It would merely be a 'reassessment of one's preferences,' people living in 'not-so-optimistic security.' So, welcome, those who are 'longing to be blindly obedient and loyal, unbeknownst to them.'

    Cheers Kaidonni

I went on Gamestop before setting off for work and saw 1.5 and 1.6 patches. I set 1.6 downloading so hopefully when I get home at 10.30pm it will be raring to go.
