well I think in RTR Platinum at least, the enemy when routs runs towards your center, which means you can loose the battle to a broken unit, but more often then not they keep pressing your lines till their all dead. Bit annoying.
Assorted food things in the tavern, pork scratchings, nuts, nice crisps, the odd pie or maybe cornish pasty, perhaps a side plate of olives, or just a slice of watermelon, then again a banana would go down well, with some vanilla ice cream, mm or what about a nice thai green curry, or some crispy duck, i like Mallard, head soup (gah?), a dirty kebab, a sweaty burger, fried shrimp, toasted shrimp, thin fries, cheese on toast, a battered sausage, chicken pieces, crispy potatoes, a slice of pizza, jaffa cakes.
Something to wash the Ale down....

Ogh.. Stay on-topic fellas. And to not go off-topic like you, I will actually say something:
I think making the campaign a little 'varied' would be good for SP. Like in RTW vanilla, Seleucids will always lose to Egypt, no matter what (Except if the player interferes and helps Seleucids), I'd like that changed.
"Cry, the beloved country, for the unborn child that is the inheritor of our fear. Let him not love the earth too deeply. Let him not laugh too gladly when the water runs through his fingers, nor stand too silent when the setting sun makes red the veld with fire. Let him not be moved when the birds of his land are singing, nor give too much of his heart to a mountain or a valley. For fear will rob him of all if he gives too much."

Nice thinking DW, I like the idea. How about "Ye Olde Curry House" (with an assorted collection of spicy nibbles) to supplement the Tavern? It's a natural.Originally Posted by Divine Wind
The only thing more revolting than Head Hurlers would be... Armoured Arse Wind Bandits, only recruitable with Ye Old Curry House. Hmm.
Christ, I'm turning in to Harry Hill.

Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.
A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?
Harry Hill "HHHMMMM....." Kebab AND mustard? Sounds like a food tragedy to me.
I'm hungry, later dudes.

Variety in the campaign is a good one. Sometimes I see Britons conquer all of Gaul, sometimes Thrace take most of Greece. But not very often. Usually I see the "Faction Destroyed" message and I know exactly what happened. If the AI factions had more outcomes without player intervention that would add replayability.
But what I really want is an old feature that was taken away by BI! The ablilty to rotate the battle camera with the mouse and scroll with the arrow keys at the same time. I found it so useful and simple, why remove it?!
