Does this replacement TW.exe file allow you to actually play an online game with people that have the non-Gold MTW/VI v2.01?

Does this replacement TW.exe file allow you to actually play an online game with people that have the non-Gold MTW/VI v2.01?

It should do, as it should be recognised as exactly the same game and version. Would be good if someone were to test it though?
