    Default Crashes

My game sometimes crashes when I go to the menu (press escape) but for some reason thats clearing up. Now it crashes when I load a quicksave. And it always crashes when I minimize it on the campaign screen.

    Anyone know whats up?

The "escape" crash is quite common, and I find it happens a lot less if I quicksave (Ctrl-S) before doing an escape-save... Loaded quick saves crashing sounds like it could be a corrupted file - often happens if you load/reload/refight battles a lot in a single year, maybe cos the camp map and battle results get out of sync somehow.

Are you running any mods, or pushing your machine's specs too hard?

holybandit, the same sort of thing happens to me:

    - sometimes crashes when Esc is pressed to get to the menu
    - it also crashes when minimizing, unless in a battle or there is an event open in the camp map screen, eg offer of marriage etc.

I'm not sure why, but it never happened before I got VI. Perhaps its a glitch with VI.
