The text of the motions:
MOTION #1: That this house focuses on naval buildings in Tarentum and Syracuse

MOTION #3:
This house proposes that:
(a) the new consul makes peace with Carthage, with the option of taking Melite before they do so.
(b) an offensive be made against the Gauls of Cisalpine Gaul.
(c) that the new consul focus on the economy and prosperity, rather than army.
(d) that economic growth is to take a higher priority than expansion.
Clarification: this motion authorises a declaration of war on Gaul.
