    Question How many times...

    ...have you been drank?

Really. Guess I've been too. I've eaten onions with mustard and I'm making love poems to a girl.

Drunk...oooh many times, but ssssh i'm underage..

you do not wanna know what I do when I'm drunk
    When I was a child
    I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
    The child is grown,
    The dream is gone.
    I have become comfortably numb...

My first time was at around 14/15 at somebodys wedding. My sister and I, ran around the different tables while everyone was dancing, drinking their wine

I think you should have the poll list upto like "More than 1000" for a few grogs.

Never, no really, never. And, yes, I do drink, but there are some ways to avoid getting drunk out of your mind ... it also helps to know when to stop, but that is not primary.

I've probably been drunk more than 10 times in one week.

Of course, that depends on how sober you have to be between 2 drunken moments I guess...

Oh yeah, I barely drink anymore, don't follow in my footsteps kids, it's bad for you !

Heh, the poll results are quite radically split between 'Never' and 'More than ten times'. We need someone early in their drinking career to vote for the other options.

Done and done. I've been drunk more than 5 times, despite my slight undarage-ness. The last time i got drunk, was at a large party. It was fun. I couldn't walk more than a few paces without falling over, so i remember ordering the people near me to get me another drink.

I made a lot of new friends that night.

I'm sure most people could care less about the taste of beer (they just want buzz), but I really can't stand it.

Plus I really don't care enough to get drunk. It's not that I have morals, 'cuz I don't. It's just I don't drink.

This thread really needs another option: so many times I lost count, or at least higher then 10.

Could this turn into the frontroomish version of the drunkards thread?

I never really like the taste of alcohol, but I like beer and tequila. I drink vodka although I don't really like it. I usually drink it mixed with some other stuff, like orange or coke or appletinis. But I'll drink in a social setting.

Yes, I've been drunk more than once. First time when I was drunk, I blackout completely (too much beer and tequila) and the next morning I woke up on the floor of my friend's bedroom with vomit all over my shirt, which he told me was mine.

But now, I just have a couple of beer to relax me and one or two shots. No point staying sober when everyone are getting drunk, right? Cause then all the responsibility will get shove to you.

Tequila is the best. However, I recently discovered Amaretto, a very good liqueur. Odd, since I always hate Liqueurs; but Amaretto is very good. It has a strong, thick taste to it; very sweet, but not cloying, and with a strong almond flavor.

Listen to me... jabbering about Amaretto... I need to sober up!

I voted more than five, but I guess I should have said once. On many occasions I have been pleasantly tipsy after a few glasses of wine, but in those instance I can sober up in a split second.
There was only one time when I was seriously as nissed as a pewt. I invented a cocktail called the COMP which goes as follows:
    The C.O.M.P:
Take one pint/liter/anysize glass you want.
Fill two thirds (or three quarters if you prefer) of the glass with orange juice.
Fill the other third with one part pineapple rum, one part mago rum, and one part cherry brandy.
Works well with any other fruit schnapps/brandy/alcohol you have at hand.

It was so easy to drink, so after about half an hour I couldn't walk in a straight line and kept falling off my chair. Great fun, though.

This thread has inspired me to have a drink, and now after a short tumbler filled with rum and ice tea, I am feeling pleasantly....relaxed.
Oh, and i am also making cheval bourguignon tonight, so I will have half a bottle of wine to use up! And after that, I think I may proceed onto the port!

Yeah Amaretto is good, especially after you've just had diner - or any food for that matter.
