    Default Hitman: Blood Money

    Hey all,

I've bought and played all of the Hitman games over the years and have been very pleased with them all, I love 'em.
I just this minute ordered Hitman: Bloody Money from Amazon and would just like anyone who's got it opinions on the game. Sure I've read reviews etc. from sites but I don't 100% trust these, I'd rather get your guys opinions or reviews.

    Thanks,
    - Taurus

YAAAAAAY you have made an excellent purchase, I was instantly hooked and completed the game within 4 days of purchase. I am not saying it is short however, there are a large number and variety of levels, with excellent senses of place and character. The replay factor is also great, with a huge number of ways to complete each mission, with a possibility for making most look like "accidents"-

I'm still working on Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. By the ways, I want Blood Money, but I don't know which version to get. I bought the other two for X-box, and will probably get an x-box 360 as soon as the PS3 releases (drop price). My PC can definantly handle it though.

    Thanks for your replies guys.

I couldn't help but read your spoiler Masy and can't wait to do this, thanks.

That's one thing I've always liked about the Hitman series too, it's replay factor, I still find myself playing Hitman 1, 2 and 3 after all these years/months. Great games, I hope this one doesn't dissapoint and by the looks of things it won't.

    Cheers.

Get PC, you'll be surprised how optimised the game is. even crap computers can run mardi gras (the level with a ton of people) so well.

I heard about Hitman from a friend yesterday and amazon seems to have good reviews for it. If I want to try and get Hitman, which would you advise me to get first?

All are quite good IMO. The first is actually the most difficult of them - getting discovered and into a gunfight means almost certain death. The second and third are easier if you get discovered, but more difficult to do perfect - you want that silent assassin ranking The third was more logical sneaking than the second IMO, because the second had too much sneaking while the other had more problem solving by infiltrating and other things. About the fourth I don't know because I haven't got it yet. Btw - how is the shooting in Hitman4? Have they made open gunfight hard again like in Hitman1? How much puzzle and how much sneaking is there? Hitman3 style or Hitman2 style?
    Under construction...

Hitman, Silent Assasin and Contracts are all pretty good games. I haven't played Blood Money yet.
One thing to keep in mind is that the first game will only run on Windows 95/98.

What? The demo does't run well on my PC. I had to turn dow graphics all the way for it to be playable. I looked even worse then Silent Assassine. Hmph. Pity I don't know what the specs are. vid card is a now dated Nvidia 5700 something with I think 128 MB of ram.

the FX 5xxx cards are known to have problems, your best bet is to upgrade to the 6xxx cards, most preferably the 6800 or 6600.

I hear the Playstation 2 version is pretty much optimised and the developers are extremely pleased with it, if any playstation owners are present consider trying it on the PS2. Though it uses a different render engine due to the PS2's outdated hardware, but it still runs great.
