Let's say, you are a dutch judge, who has a taste for slapping your girlfriend around the house. One day, you get a bit overenthousiastic and beat her half to death, and she goes to the police. It wouldn't be the first time this happens, but for some reason the documents of the prior two cases disappeared. Attempted manslaughter everybody screams, and it IS true, I can hardly believe it myselve, he actually got convicted. Ok, not for attempted manslaughter, the latest documents dissapeared as well, but for serious abuse. Ok, here is the question, what does a judge, the symbol of justice, the protector of our civil liberty get? Is it

a) DEATH, die maggot
b) Life in prison
c) A few years in prison
d) 80 hours community service
e) Provide 10 links for Tribesman

Can he kick it? yes he can.....

obviously the answer is d, all the media attention (where??) was punnishment enough for this vigilante.

This same week, another case against a bigshot at the justice department was dropped, he had a computer loaded with kiddieporn and was known to visit very dubious parties.

We have a politician reasonably important in the biggest part in Flanders who beat up his wife on the street. The security advisor for that same party is an ex-cop under investigation for torture.

here in lalaland he would be so screwed, we have excellent laws to protect innocent criminals from violent victims

I knew this would be another Fragony outrage thread. But hey, this time I actually agree with you! He should have been punished harder* and a very thorough investigation should start about who exactly lost which document.

*he wasn't an immigrant after all
