Default So, who really benefited from Soccer Aid ?

The event was set up to benefit Unicef......
At the moment, nobody appears to be denying reports that Diego Maradona collected £100,000 for his charity football appearance, while many others are said to have picked up around £10,000 each in expenses......
The good policemen and women on duty walved their overtime pay.
The stewards at the stadium did not take any wages and the commentary team donated their fees to the charity

There isnt a single celebrity show that wouldn't pay, otherwise people wouldnt do it.
nice to see that the celebs you all love so much are willing to give up there time to help Unicef out.

And all I can say about the fat one is, What do you expect from a cheat.

thats why i dont like these celebritiy charity things, where a rich celebrity ''makes a difference'' by playing football or persuading people to give money they are the ones with large dissposable income and free time, when they have given away most of their wealth and live like normal people, they can tell me they dont think i give enough untill then...
