Default tk's Elephant & Chariot Mini Mod Thing

I have always hated seeing vanilla models and skins mixed in with the glorious EB units, and because I was bored this afternoo, I decided to do something about it.

I replaced all vanilla elephant and chariot riders with finished EB models and skins, I replaced all vanilla horse skins with finished EB ones that are currently in the game, and I removed all vanilla standard bearers. Although it is not perfect, I believe that the chariots and elephants are much easier to look at now. Here are a few screens:

    Armored Indian Elephants

    Indian Elephants

    Casse Chariots

    Seleukid Scythed Chariot

It will be available for download in a week if anyone wants it.

    Good idea!

Perhaps this should be combined with Bonny's sprite pack?

I got a better idea. Combine this with my MapMod too.

And create a complete EB fix pack? Sounds good, although personally I should wait with that until your Mapmod is finished.

    Yeap, exactly.

I'll release a new version of the MapMod soon after my exams.

I think that that's an excellent idea. I'll PM Bonny and Edyz and see what they think.

    Here's a download link.

    http://rapidshare.de/files/23648349/tkminimod.zip.html

Just copy and paste the export_descr_unit.txt and the descr_model_battle.txt into the appropriate directory. I have also included backup copies if you don't like my little mod or it doesn't work for some reason.

Note: The current version does not work with Bonny's sprites, but I am working on one that will be.
