Thread: Using the Skin Modifier with siege engines.

Default Using the Skin Modifier with siege engines.

Is this possible. I was updating siege engine etc and made a catapult and had plans on a new bow-like ballista and made the ropes that pulled the various parts back. I used the skin modifier on them so they would move properly (looks crazy cool in max btw) but when loading up a battle it crashes. So I an wondering is it the skin modifier in the model crashing it or maybe something else?

Didn't work for me. Always CTDs.

Darn it is as I feared. It would have been hella cool (to quote Eric Cartman) if it did work.

What do u mean by "the skin modifier"? Do u mean it's not possible to change the textures or do u mean it's not possible to change the shape of the engine in 3Ds Max?
