    I don't know. Probably. I wouldn't like to have me as my offspring. I've never feared for my life though.

    No, at at most they're a but dissapointed at times.

    Things tend to go sour when I stay at home for long periods of time, but it's not that we don't love eachother, we just can't live together

    Nah, I can't complain. I am really pampered(), maybe because I'm the small kid(I have a bigger sister ), and my parents never had any problems with me at school. I really study.

    Right now, I just want to move out of the house and live alone. But where can you get out when you're an expat stuck in Vietnam? My parents are okay and I must say, loving, all my life. But now they are irritating and getting under me and my twin bro's skin. Their nagging freq has just turned up 10 times. The problem is when we're at home too much, that's why I go out and watch the World Cup with friends.

    Wow, I've been feeling the need to move out ASAP for a few months now. So this thread is kind of on cue.

    Unfortunately, I don't see how I'll pay my way if I move out. The temporary answer is to just ignore my family.

    Nope, I moved out at 18, my parents bought me an apartment for my college education, which is some 400 km from my place of birth.

    Otherwise, good relations with them, aside from the occasional my being stubborn thing, but that is fairly minor and unimportant in the long run. Actually, my relations with them improved after I moved out.

    Nope. I spend college vacations at home, and we get along dandy.

    Of course, I'm not my idiot brother, who will get a very, very well deserved boot when he turns 18.

    I felt at home with my parents, because of university I had to move out, which turned out better than expected.
    But I am with my parents every second weekend at least, because they wash my clothes.
    The relationship was friendly and is friendly, despite a few things here or there, but that´s nothing big usually.

    My parents love, me. They give me freedom, so I want more, so sometimes I can be a bit hard to handle, but most of the time, I'm a good little angel.

    Well. Not so much hate as disappointed. *cough* recent baby news *cough* but hey, I'm living on my own so I'm not under too much pressure. Except for my girlfriend's dad just about had a fit...apparently muslims frown on pre-marital relations in the first place, he said he'd calm down after he sees a ring on her finger

    No, my parents are awesome. I couldn't wish for cooler people to live with.

    I am moving out in september, but that's a uni thing. It'll be nice to be independant, but I am really going to miss my family.

    sometimes we quarrel but overall i have great respect and love for them. though i barely show it to them. i dont think i'd like to trade them for others

    No, I get on great with my parents (my mum to be precise, as my parents are divorced). I am treated like an adult, have plenty of freedom and I get the house to myself for a week or so every couple of months since my mum often has to go away on business.

    From about age 14 til I went off to Uni the house was just TOO SMALL to share with parents, at that age there's too much going on in your head to cope with them. After I'd lived away for a while we all got along a lot better. Of course at the time it was ALL THEIR FAULT. Age has shown me otherwise!!

    And here's a message I saw on a card once: "Happy 16th birthday - leave home now, whilst you still know everything."

    Well my dad tuaght me how to fight play pool and play cards and my mum tuaght me how to lie and how to be outgoing. There a lil werid but they given the 5 lifeskills that you need

    I considered moving out and in with a friend when I was a senior in high school, mom convinced me to stay but as soon as graduation happened I was gone! I have a good relationship with my family now but at the time I was very feed up.

    I was pulling decent grades and working a part time job to raise enough money to move to the big city for college and when I would have a night off to see my girl I get slapped with a curfew of 10:00 PM, screw that!

    Well, I've been parentless for almost twenty years. Never got along with the old man. Always got along with the old doll.

    They certainly didn't hate me. Quite the opposite. Very loving, if flawed, individuals.
