Thread: MTW in other languages

    Default MTW in other languages

    I have a german version of MTW:VI

(i thought i had the gold version, but when the game starts it says v2.01 ...)

I installed Samurai mod with the 40MB installer.
I switched to samurai units with that .bat file
I started my game and opened a shogun map, chose a faction and
    wanted to start the campaign.

Then it came: a pop up saying something about a language file
don't remember what it said exactly, but i couldnn't play it.
So i tried to uninstall the Samurai mod
When i tried to start MTW again, a pop up said some files were missing
(really sorry, should have remembered what files)

I had to install MTW all over again.

I don't know what happened exactly, is it possible to play the Samurai
mod with a German version (or other language) of MTW?

    Any suggestions?

Yes, it should be pretty easy (and part of the readme of any MTW mod, as a matter of fact) to fix. Just copy the whole content from the loc/eng folder to the loc/*yourlanguage* folder. That should do the trick.

The next version will support multiple languages.
    Please excuse the inconvenience.
