Somehow, I have problems creating it. My connection stalls.

I'll try creatin it these days, hope it works, and hope I don't have to pay for it.

Does the game support bots? The original did eventually.

How does DOD:Source compare to the original for Half-life 1? DoD is pretty much the only game I play online anymore and frankly the only reason I would buy HL2. Haven't purchased it yet because my comp can't really run it but I am getting my long overdue upgrade soon.

Also edyzmedieval I would love to join the clan once I get the new DoD, might even be a month or two till I get it but whatever. I am not the greatest and I tend to use the MG42 mostly. When I'm not playing drunk I am usually among the top 5 in the server unless Im playing against some clan or crazy good guys.

    Not atm afaik.

The game's excellent provided you can get a game, although there should be an option to enforce hdr (so people can't get an advantage by having it off). :P

I'm playing it. I'm mostly online, playing on the FragMasters Server.

It's free to play this weekend. I've had a couple of hours or so playing it. It seems ok. A bit fast paced compared to CS though. I suppose it depends on server settings, but with fast respawns as most servers I've been on tend to have, you don't need to do much more than run around blasting and trying to capture a flag first. Doesn't matter if you die as you're back in 10 seconds time anyway. Which makes me wonder why guns have so many spare magazines. How you going to get through 12 BAR magazines when your average life expectancy is under a minute? I think I prefer Hidden and Dangerous 2 online, a bit more slow paced but unfortunately with awful hit detection. I'll give DoD a few more goes before the weekend is up, but I doubt I'll buy it.

I managed to empty it 2 times, because I found an ideal position. 6 kills only.
