Wait a sec, shouldn't we be sticking with the rules of the game?

7) Battles with faction members can be fought manually if the avatar is controlled by a member of the Lower House who plays out the battle within 2 days, otherwise they are autoresolved.
The previous substitution which econ21 played was different since the actual player in charge of that avatar asked someone else to take over for just that one battle due to technical problems. This situation seems to fall right into our agreed upon rules though. I think we should give shifty157 the required 2 days to play it or otherwise respond, and then the battle has to be autoresolved.

If a defeat results, it would then be entirely appropriate for the Senate to be rather harsh and critical of him. In fact, the repurcussions of failing to play a battle in time could turn out to be very nasty if the Senate decides to be vindictive. Regardless, I think we should obey the rules, for better or for worse.
