    Default M:TWII Pre-Mod Seeking Help!

    Hey everyone! i'm in the process of getting a team togeather, gathering backround information etc. for M:TW II mod. While obviously the game's not out yet what I would like to have is a completed mod "plan" when it's released... a few models... skins..etc. by the time the game is out. Perhaps a prototype in the Rome engine for testing out concepts, balence etc.

    The two concepts for it i'm considering are below. Just a little bit of basic information, pictures etc. -- It's really up to the whole team which one (or if they want we could do something else)...


    Mythology: Total War
    Prehistoric: Total

    It may be a better idea to set up a single thread for MIITW in this forum, with the initial post being updated (jump links) as to the mod ideas posted in the thread for quick reference.

    Thus it will be kept separate from R:TW/BI mods and the discussion thereof. That is, of course, if you do not want to open a MIITW forum this early ;)

    I'm moving this thread to the MTW2 forum, but I'll leave a closed copy of it here for reference.

    There's lots of excitement for the release of MTW2, and lots of people thinking up new ideas for it. But at that moment those ideas are limited to historical or creative research. The modding forums are here to support the technical modding of the game - and that of course can't be done until the game is actually released.

    Rome is still the ballgame for the modding community - and who can deny that when this last month has seen not only Chivalry and Citadel but also Blue Lotus - and I'd like the community's focus to stay here. More forums will be opened after the game is released, but short of a miracle of official modding support, in my opinion we have far more flexibility in modding Rome now than we will do with MTW2 even six months after it's come out (nearly a year from now).
