Does your parents hate you?

I'm exactly like my dad, seriously i am like a clone, so he is quite within his rights to hate me, after all i'm a cynical, sarcastic son of a gun

No, I get on great with my parents (my mum to be precise, as my parents are divorced). I am treated like an adult, have plenty of freedom and I get the house to myself for a week or so every couple of months since my mum often has to go away on business.

From about age 14 til I went off to Uni the house was just TOO SMALL to share with parents, at that age there's too much going on in your head to cope with them. After I'd lived away for a while we all got along a lot better. Of course at the time it was ALL THEIR FAULT. Age has shown me otherwise!!

And here's a message I saw on a card once: "Happy 16th birthday - leave home now, whilst you still know everything."

I considered moving out and in with a friend when I was a senior in high school, mom convinced me to stay but as soon as graduation happened I was gone! I have a good relationship with my family now but at the time I was very feed up.

I was pulling decent grades and working a part time job to raise enough money to move to the big city for college and when I would have a night off to see my girl I get slapped with a curfew of 10:00 PM, screw that!

Anyway, they're at work most of the day, so it's no big difference whether or not I live with them during the holidays.

Well, I've been parentless for almost twenty years. Never got along with the old man. Always got along with the old doll.

They certainly didn't hate me. Quite the opposite. Very loving, if flawed, individuals.

they are getting way to controlling, i realise they love me and want what is best for me but what in the hell does thet have to do with limiting my computer time and not letting me hangh out with my freinds.
