Nikpalj, yes, Resistance does require the original game, it's an expansion pack.

Had been looking at that mod the other night. One thing struck me in particular though - is it a modern-day modification, or focused more on the Winter and Continuation Wars? Noticed it looks to have missions related to that.
FDF was designed to cover the history of the Finnish Defense Forces. It has both the modern and WW2-era content. Which is nice :)
