    STOP!

Before we go any further we need some clarification here. Are we talking about Liptons[TM] or proper tea?
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

Every day, normal English breakfast tea, drop of milk, no sugar. Marvellous. For special occasions, Earl Grey. Heaven. Nuff said. Iced Tea is just another anodyne American concoction. McDonald's for tea-drinkers. Hrrumph!

Tea, Earl Grey will do; milk, no sugar, and a buttered fruit scone with jam and clotted cream. Divine.

Hopeless barbarian that I am: 2 bags of Lipton's in a coffee mug, a dash of lemon 'n smidge of milk. Makes my afternoon work go better (it's been over 100 F here the past week).

    Coffee in the a.m.
Be well. Do good. Keep in touch.

Now, for once and for all, Liptons [TM] Is not tea.

It is as liken to tea, as seaweed is to coffee. This is where tea gets a bad name.

My (USA citizen) Mom just cannot fathom why my father and I partake of such a hot beverage in his garden, when the temperature is in the 100sF.

Believe me, we have tried, ever so hard, that hot originated in the tropics.

    Alas to no avail.

My sympathies go with you Kukri
