Where do all of you get your history for your mod?

Err well generally we try to look primarily at first hand historical sources, ie if you were doing a mod about the Greco-Persian Wars you might look at Herodotus, if you were making a mod of the Norman invasion of england you might look at the Bayeux Tapestry. Then once you have a unit list from there you can look at concept drawings from publishing companies like Osprey or look at historical findings for specific helmets etc. The most important thing to know before you start searching is exactly what time period your mod will cover, because the Greek and Macedonian armies of the 5th century were completely different from those of Alexandrian Times. So to help you more specifically, what is your time period (or is this a reskin for rtw?).
