ok here's my problem, i always install the mods i download here and they work great but since a couple of weeks i have some trouble with 1.2_patch, when i install my rome vanilla everything is ok but when i try to install 1.2_patch my pc tells me that my rome total war is already upgreaded to 1.2_patch but when i play the game it's still the original rome 1.0, so it does not accept the patch, now that is problem number 1 but here's the big one who is eating me alive: since i cannot upgrade it to 1.2 i can't install the mods i download, so please somebody help me before i go crazy, i already thank the ones who will even take the time to read this,

Kaya.

Maybe u forgot to uninstall RTW before u installed a new copy, meaning that u now have two copies of RTW on your comp? If thats not the case, try uninstalling and delete the remaining files (u never delete all the files when uninstalling). Remember to save your saved games folder another place though. Then reinstall and patch.

Just download zipped version of 1.2 patch:
http://horsearcher.net/huninvasion2/patchzip/RTW1.2.zip - this one is an easy copy paste patch, don't need to run any installer, just copy paste the files over your RTW installation. No registry problems no headache!

You are very looky that someone made a .zip version of the patch.

I remember when this happened to me about a year ago there was no .zip version so I had to uninstall RTW and hunt through my computer registry for every reference to RTW and delete them. That was such a huge pain to do.
