    Default Ships

I have been looking at some types of ships used in historical/classical warfare and before I tell EB they are missing something, what is the Kerkeroi exactly? If its a bireme then I have a description for it, if not, then there should be biremes too as well as Hepteres(Septiremes) and triaconters(single deck like penteconterai but only 30 oars as opposed to 50)

I might be totally wrong (and I probably am), but I believe the Kerukeroi is actually a type of Triaconter, but it lacks a ram to allow for easy shore landing.

    Please send me the description(PM)!

I removed name bireme as it is not precise - tetrere could also be called bireme as it had 2 levels of oars. Penteconter occupies its place (some were 2 leveled)

Hepteres are "included" both in Pentere fleet (as flagships) and Huge Poliremes (as rank and file ships).

Triaconter is to small I think. In hellenistic period it was mainly used as "coast guard", port guarding, river crossing and comunication veasels.

    Thanks for comments!

I was also wondering if the Romans had deceres and liburnians, I haven't played far enough with them to find out.

And I will send you that description O'etaipos

Triaconters may seem too small but they would still be good because they would be far less expensive, if pathetic, allowing for some actual fleet action in EB.
