    Exclamation Alternatives for....

    .....for Adobe Photoshop.
It's my favourite imaging software, but I lost my CD. Anyhow, I don't want to pay 1100 dollars for Adobe Photoshop CS2!!!!

Can somebody recommend some alternatives up to 100 dollars?
I want a simple interface, just like Adobe.

I've switched to The Gimp. Best free photoshop replacement this side of the singularity. And you can't beat free for a price.

I had Adobe Photoshop 7, and I used it every time I wanted to do modding or edit pictures. And I loved the simple interface and such. That's why I am asking.

Anyhow, I downloaded the trials for Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Paint Shop Pro 10, and downloaded GIMP. We'll see which is better, and which of it suits my needs.

Photoshop is for professional use and Paint Shop Pro is more amateurish.

    Photoshop for the win.
"Cry, the beloved country, for the unborn child that is the inheritor of our fear. Let him not love the earth too deeply. Let him not laugh too gladly when the water runs through his fingers, nor stand too silent when the setting sun makes red the veld with fire. Let him not be moved when the birds of his land are singing, nor give too much of his heart to a mountain or a valley. For fear will rob him of all if he gives too much."
