Default 50 Reasons Why It's Good to be an American Man (In No Particular Order)

I'm not an American and have never been to the U.S. my whole life, except if you include me as a three year old kid going to Disneyland in California (is it?) and Planet Hollywood. Well, found an article on the Net about why its so great to be a guy in America.

But China outnumbers them 4 to 1... the sleeping dragon will awake soon. Then, there will be no time for "Tater tots."

P.S what is a tater tot?

A Tater Tot is the child of a very dangerous criminal known as Tater Salad. You must be very wary.

Best reason is baseball, what a great game.
GARCIN: I "dreamt," you say. It was no dream. When I chose the hardest path, I made my choice deliberately. A man is what he wills himself to be.
INEZ: Prove it. Prove it was no dream. It's what one does, and nothing else, that shows the stuff one's made of.
GARCIN: I died too soon. I wasn't allowed time to - to do my deeds.
INEZ: One always dies too soon - or too late. And yet one's whole life is complete at that moment, with a line drawn neatly under it, ready for the summing up. You are - your life, and nothing else.

Not if you're an Astros fan like me. I generally just call them the DisAstros or the Lastros. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory once again. (sigh)

The handful that I might even consider... are rather conveniently exported. (Unfortunately, so are the rest)

Well. I'm going to America in a week or so. I'll take this as a checklist of things to see if they're great or not (except maybe deportation).

    If I agree with
    41 - 50: Land of the Free.
    31 - 40: Land of the alright.
    11 - 30: Land of the mediocre.
1 - 10: Land of the pretty damn shit.
    0: France.

They've won two in a row. It must be because I haven't been watching them. If I watch, they lose. If I don't watch, they win. Oooh! Brilliant! Maybe I can convince them to pay me to watch porn!

I dunno, there was an episode on last night where they had to elect a Supreme Court judge and it was pretty bad.

I nearly lost all faith in America last night. I thought for a nearly half an hour that all justice was lost from the world and that the President's actions were going to go unpunished.
But then Jack Bauer pulled one out of the bag and managed to get that sonofabitch down in the end. Hurray for freedom! Unfortunately, America is likely to be in a lot of danger for the foreseable future now the Chinese have Jack - let's be honest, he is your only line of defence.
