    Default Interesting Bloodlines

I decided to create a thread about monarchs with interesting bloodlines.

I'll start with Ivan the terrible

    1) Greek-Anatolian (grandmother Sophia Paleologi)
    2) Serbian (great-great-grandmother Helena Dragash)
    3) Armenian (Rita-Maria of Armenia)
    4) Italian (various Italian princesses married Roman Emperors)
    5) Hungarian...yet to be confirmed

Its interesting, the last Emperor of the Roman Empire, COnstantine Xi Dragash is the great-grand uncle of Ivan the Terrible.

Prince William (the one we got today) has a Romanian ancestor who is the brother of Vlad Dracul Tepes.

Pure coincidence or striking family resemblance?

Really, I didn't know Vlad Tepes is his ancestor. Weird.

    Been to:

Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.

A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?

The American John F Kennedy, and all other Kennedys are the offspring off Brian Boruma of Cennedi (Sounds like Kennedy, doesn't it?).
