    Default International Baccalaureate Results

I'm getting my IB examination results at 6/07/06 at 1700 GMT online. Which means over at my place it would be 12 midnight, yikes! Damn nervous, the results determined whether I will receive my diploma or else two years of education will go down the drain.

But at least its not released at 6/06/06.

    Two years?

Of course, I crammed four years of university study into two by taking 18+ credits per semester.

Now I am cramming two years of Masters work into 18 months with another 18 credits per semester. (MBA, International Business. Good Stuff LLB)

Don't you feel like burn out or stressed? The IB years were extremely stressful for my grade, espeically when we want to relax and party, the teachers would be saying: "After the finals, you can party all you want to." They even said that after IB, university would be a breeze. But now... hearing from you....

And I work full time. And sometimes I substitute teach jr. high school for a part-time job on top of it. And I have a Family.

Sometimes I want to end it all. It gets pretty tough. I usually get about four hours of sleep each night, up to six if I am lucky. At least once a week, I do a re-charge and sleep for 12 hours to catch up.

    The bottom line:

We get one life that we can remember when we are old. Just one. I was given nothing. If we have talent, then we owe it to God and everyone else who does not have talent to use our ability to the maximum of its potential. To waste a blessing is a sin.

I will slave now, so that I may live a life of luxury and opulence later. My children will go to the best schools. I will travel the world when I see fit, with multiple homes in multiple countries. I will serve many through my work, and spread my wealth to as many as I can out of generosity rather than compulsion.

And if I die before I reach my dreams, I can still look on the face of the Lord and say to him, "Father, I have done my best with what you have given me. I have served many and sought to enjoy the life you have given me. You gave me the oceans to swim, the waves to ride, the mountains to explore, and the world to travel. I gave much back and left this world better than when I arrived".

All I can hope to hear is: "Well Done. Good and faithful servant."

Wow. Thumbs up, DA. That is a most respectable attitude to life.

Ja mata, TosaInu. You will forever be remembered.

    Proud

    Been to:

Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.

A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?

Wow, that's one of the best speech I've heard (or read) in the forum. You really empower me to do something with my life (after 18 years of slacking).

    Best of luck my friend.

I myself am waiting on my MYP certificate; I know it's not as big but I still want to know how much time I wasted.
