    Default Windowed Mode Question

Greetings fellow MTW fans, I was wondering if any of you could help me with a problem. I wish to run MTW in windowed mode so that I can play it and World of Warcraft simultaneously. I found the command for running the game in a debug window, but it requires setting my desktop to 16 bit colour. Is there a way to run this windowed without having to mess around with my desktop settings every time I want to play?

Yes: by leaving your desktop in 16bit colour mode

okay, bad one....but I have no clue either If the game says it requires 16bit in windowed mode, I guess it has to be.

Try alt+tab - maybe this is the solution (I don't know WoW, so I have no idea how that runs)

I've never tried to run MTW in a window, so I don't know if it works. You will have to set the desktop colour depth to 16bpp though if the game requires it, there is no way to run a windowed Direct3D session is a different colour depth to your desktop.

(I didn't realise that MTW didn't use 32bpp! Or maybe that's only in windowed mode?)

Bleh, I'm not going to change my desktop just to play it windowed. :(

And I seriously doubt my pc could handle RTW windowed at the same time.

All in the name of jokes. But I wouldn't have a clue about windowed mode, I didn't even know it was possible.

(I have plenty of friends who play WoW, and they have ruined their lives. At least M:TW is not so addictive.)
