Am i the only one to have had Protectorates?

I usually pay up before i enemy them, and when i demand they become a protectorate and they accept it.

It also helps if you're fighting a dying faction, like the Seleucid Empire, they'll get so desperate they'll accept anything, but it did work on Parthia twice :D.

Also i have got the Carthaginains to become my allies, even as the scippi i had taken Thapsus, Palma, Lilybaeum and Caralis. It was really good, usually they'lll send a diplomat up and demand all there terittories back and money from me!

I really wish the dilplomacy was moddable, you could make it so the computer aims for Protectorate not swallowing up in one go, im fed up of the Seleucid Empire dying so damn early :(.

P.S. Incase you're think I'm playing on Easy Difficulty i only ever play on vh/vh.

I have Epeiros as my Protectorate. I play as Makedonia.
About to have protectorate Koinon Hellenon too.
