Thread: Timeframe of EB mod effects?

  1. #1

Default Timeframe of EB mod effects?

EB starts in 272 BC, so when does it's "effects" end? Will I see the military reforms of Marius?

Yes, if the right conditions occur... EB ends in 14 AD.

OK I should have assumed then it's the same as RTW.

I see this late-era EB mod that is in alpha... does this mean it takes over at 14 AD? If so, why does the late-era EB mod mention the Marius reforms?

No, it just starts *at* Marius reforms, 107 BCE IIRC. The aim was to provide something for those wanting to play with the "late" units without waiting for them in the "normal" EB. Also, sometimes the game cann be over before the Marian reforms have happened.
