Default The Org would like to extend its congratulations to...

    The 'Edit' award

While the Hall of Fame awards are given to those who the public vote as the best in their fields, the 'edit' award is granted by the staff as a body to those modders whom they consider have had the greatest impact on the community.

It is rarely awarded - and indeed has only been awarded in relation to Rome Total War once before. We began with a far longer list of RTW modders who've contributed to the community and whittled it down to these few final award winners who've shown an exceptional commitment to their projects since Rome was released.

    So, congratulations to:
[cf]Adherbal, alpaca, caius britannicus, DARTH_VADER, Epistolary Richard, khelvan, lt1956, Malrubius, Myrddraal, Prometheus, Vercingetorix

Congratulations also to the previous RTW recipient, hoggy.

    [cf]Adherbal

    alpaca
Current co-mod leader of Chivalry and creator of the .hgt conversion tool, alpaca is continuing the work on improving Chivalry after the release of its single player campaign - the first non-Roman Total Conversion mod to do so.

    caius britannicus
Former mod leader and dedicated modeller and skinner for Rome Total Realism, caius is the author of The Crusades hosted mod and is working to release this impressive modification.

    DARTH_VADER
Perhaps the modder who has done the most to try to improve the AI challenge on the battlefield, Darth is constantly making improvements to his Darthmod and also works with several modding teams to implement similar improvements.

    Epistolary Richard
One of the foremost proponents of RTW scripting, Richard produced one of the first scripting modifications Client Kingdoms and used the scripting system to provide an innovative All factions mod for Barbarian Invasion. Richard was also one of the first members of the EB scripting team and is currently working on new features for Res Gestae.

    hoggy
Author and creative mastermind behind one of the most exciting original modifications ever released for Rome Total War, hoggy is continuing to wok to improve Blue Lotus since its recent first full campaign release.

    khelvan
One of the mod co-ordinators and long-time public face of one of the community's most well-known mods, Europa Barbarorum, khelvan is continuing to work to improve EB since their first release toward their conversion to 1.5.

    lt1956
Creator of the major community mod SPQR which is of the school of 'more, bigger, better' battles, lt1956 continues to work to improve this most public of personal modifications.

    Malrubius
Perhaps the most dedicated investigators and modders of the trait files, Malrubius is the creator of the Genetics, Aging, Family and Health mod and produced the enormous trait files for Europa Barbarorum.

    Myrddraal
One of the great primary researchers into modding Rome Total War, his discoveries have been built on by countless modders, Myrddraal created the Multiple Turns a Year modification which has been converted for use with almost all major modifications and has more recently released the first TW multiplayer campaign game.

    Prometheus
Creator of Res Gestae and Ran no Jidai, Prometheus' models and skins have continued to impress the community; he's currently working on the Roman skinpack element of Res Gestae and has announced a date for their first release.

    Vercingetorix
A name synonymous with Rome Total War modification, Vercingetorix created the tools which all modders use in order to access the original texture files and also to import new models and animations into the game. The face of Rome Total War modding would be very different without him.
