    Default useless assessor

Is it possible to get rid of the Useless Assessor trait? I have many generals that get this but sometimes they get it for having a city not a the highest tax and over 100% happy for just one turn.

Is there a counter for it? Like building a farm clears "poor farmer"...

Sorry, don't have an answer, but I DO have a follow on question - are the vices & virtues entirely randomly generated, or are they influenced by what a given general is doing, or, as a third option - are they effectively "hard-wired" into particular generals?

For example, is General Gerhard von Dieselbauser always going to get the same vices and virtues no matter what you do with him?

A lot of traits are easy to get and some can be inherited and others can only be gotten at birth. But there is alot that can go into triggering them, % of chance, tax rate, completing a building, finishing a turn in enemy territory, getting married, having kids, spending a whole turn in a city, etc, etc, You really need bug-fixer to enable them properly.

A general needs to win fights against specific odds to get certain traits. Also losing against certain odds (in your favour and against!) can trigger traits.

Sometimes building a particular line of buildings (e.g. traders) simply gives your governor points on a scale that can go plus or minus and for every turn you dont build that line of buildings there is a chance you will get a minus point. For example building a farm gets you one point but it takes 3 points to get the good farmer trait. However it only takes one point to get rid of poor farmer so building a farm will clear this trait. There are points of no return like 'loathes farmers'. Build mines and get a mining engineer etc.

Academies get you ancilaries like chirurgeon, mathematician, librarian. Level2 temples get you a chance to get a priest(ess) but the temples also give you traits (e.g. Mars gets the 'mad' line).

Building a odeon style building opens a chance of getting the actor ancillary.

And so on and so on. But this is just a horribly simplified overview of the system, there is a excellent guide in the RTW Guides stickies section here called the breeding of governers. It has all the odds and %'s. Check it out.

Useless Assessor trait: that one is bugged so you get it anytime you set taxes bellow high. Bug fixer corrects it IIRC.
