10 children? Perhaps he should be given a free castration first?

What's up today with all those 'Oh noes! It's the end of British civilization as we know it, crucify Bliar!' threads?

Man, I don't mean to offend, but I am glad I don't live in Britain.

Here's an idea: sterilization and foster homes until he gets a job and can afford a bigger house. Here's an even wackier idea: make him work.

In their living room they have a wide screen TV, dvd player and video, freeview box and a £280 X-box game console.
That's slightly irritating to those who work for a living.

    Oh, and BKS-
'The council have offered me and the kids accommodation in a bed and breakfast but my psychiatrist thinks I might harm myself if I live there.
WTF? Harming himself, psychologically, by living in a B&B? I sure as heck wouldn't mind living like that.

A perfect example of the nanny state and one of it's charges, though I'm sure these types of cases exist worldwide wherever there is a welfare system, or particularly an easily abused, lax welfare system as in the The UK. The problem is that tightening up on this and even, oh the horror, kicking him off the dole and into a job, would probably be some kind of infringement of his human rights. I can imagine him now after taking it to court, talking about the stress he had suffered etc. The judge would find that he was entitled to doss his life away at the taxpayers expense, and that forcing him to go out and work might cause him to "harm himself", then he'd probably get a bucketload of compensation as well, and guess who pays for that?

I agree that this is Nanny Stateism. I don't care which party causes it (although Old Labour did create the beast) it needs to be curtailed.

I'm British, but the way things are going my children won't be born on this soil. I never thought I'd be saying that.

    Bah!

Two child allowances per family, third strike no allowance and free vasectomy voucher. Fourth strike, hand me the bricks....

Really? Singapore is considered one of the world's finest Nanny Stateism. Yet, we all good citizens have to work and work and work. No welfare for us. Just do whatever the Government tell us to do.

Is that part of the state benefit??????? This guy get all these without working for them?

Castration. Give him prosthetic testicles if you want to be nice, but removing the real ones is the only 100% proof method.
