Just Installed EB - some problems

I've just installed EB. Its the first mod I've installed, so I'm no expert at it. Basically, I re-installed RTW, standard version. Downloaded and installed Patch 1.2, then downloaded EB. Followed install guide, start up from the shortcut called Europa Barbarorum (with standard RTW symbol).

The game started up fine, but when I went to do a battle, the factions units seemed pretty mixed up, Romans had Caledonian, and all sort of barbarian troops. Casse, however, had, along with seemingly more appropriate troops - Spendonentai, Akontistai, as-well as Sarmatian and many other strange units. Is it supposed to be like this?

Also, when I started the battle playing as Romans, I had a Seleucid banner for the unit, and my General sounded Eastern.

Sorry about these questions, I've probably went wrong somewhere when installing something. Has anyone any ideas what I've done wrong, I want to get it sorted before I begin my first campaign (and I can't wait to!)

No, I think that's just how it is at the moment, the culture groupings given Rome greek voices. I don't know about the casse though. Do you have .74?

I just downloaded straight of the EB website, said it was latest version.

There are more than one file you'll need. There is the open beta itself, the 072 you installed, then hit 'patch' and install the 074 patch. You will be good then.
