Yes they've got rid of the different sea types in map_ground_types, the different colours on the map_heights now seem to determine the different sea types. I have not noticed anytihng yet in the campaign, though i haven't really been looking.

Does it need a new HGT convertor Lusted?
Also, are there any changes related to mapping?

Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.
A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?
Thats what im trying to find out now, as im trying to do a new map for it and have had no luck so far. Im going to try the HGT convertor done by Alpaca and see if that will help.
Lionskin is helping me have a look at where i might be going wrong with the map as he has Alexander as well. Ill post back here once i know more.
