    Hi

No, it does not cost any money to play online, although it does cost money to rent servers (so you can host games) and some servers offer payed membership...

    Maybe I'll see you on...

You can join servers for free. A ranked server you must rent. To join any server it is free.
I will see you on. Watch out, I like to snipe, as it is my proffession too. My username is [1EU]|101|4]Armenian. Kind of an odd name but my clan changed names and I did not want to change My name.
Some servers rent reserved slots and I have seen them run for about 3-5 American Dollars (wat to steep and impractical for me).
Once again, I will see you out there.

SF is good but I did'nt really play it a whole lot. I still play BF 2 from time to time (every month a cpl of hours) and normally it's BF2 vanilla. I do have SF as well. Used to play it a lot more.

Well, I don't personally have it, as the BF2 expansions are all superficial add ons (new teams, new weapons), but if there is one expansion to buy, it's Special Forces...

Ouch!! You just acquired the game without the expansion pack?
I just bought my copy; well I got it from Play.com 28th of June. It included the expansion pack and was actually cheaper than the single game version. I see that play.com now sells the deluxe version (the one I got) for £17.99
